For the Duke

A friend recently lost his beloved dog, Duke, to cancer. Duke was twelve years old and had spent his days in the wilds of the Chiricahua Mountains in Southeastern Arizona. His mother, Girl, had been abandoned with her puppies, and Duke was one of only a couple to survive.
