FOR THE INCOMPARABLE LEONARD COHEN

2016 has been a year of loss on many levels, including the passing of several cultural icons. And now we have had to say good-bye to legendary Canadian singer/songwriter/poet Leonard Cohen who died in Los Angeles several days ago at the age of 82. Cohen released his last album earlier this year and in an interview last September he mentioned being ready to die but hoping the process would not be “uncomfortable”. Wishing all of that and more for a uncompromising and amazing creative talent.

“Like a bird on the wire

Like a drunk in a midnight choir

I have tried in my way to be free.”
